BEST 1/4 MILE TIME WITH A STICK?

RE: BEST 1/4 MILE TIME WITH A STICK?
The best I know of is Justin Burcham. He has an 8 sec slip under his belt with a procharger and juice through a manual trans.
However, it's fair to note that his trans nor his motor are stock in any way shape or form...
My personal best on the stock motor through the stock trans and a vortech was 11.68 ET

Not saying you are doing this but over and over again I hear about 'sucky track prep' - which does exists, no doubt about it, but more importantly, what suspension mods do you have on your car with your N20? When are you squeezing it? What rubber/rim combo are you using? What trans and how are you launching? All of this comes into play.
I'll tell you a little secret...
It's EASY to make power - Hooking it is the HARD part...

I've seen several poorly prepped tracks. When noone can hook, and I mean NOONE..something can't be right. It is very possible, especially on test and tune nights and the track is cutting corners. My best pass was a 11.81 117.26mph 1.78 60'. I have full suspension mods and 3.73 gears with a powerhouse d/s. My bmr relocation brackets have cause a little inconsistancy with my 60' but I think I should be in the low 1.7's high 1.6's when I get my setup dialed in.. all in 85 degree heat so I hope this fall numbers will drop more.

Thurman, if your sig is correct......552rwhp, you should be trapping in the 117-124 area. Are you up in altitude?? What DR's are you running?
It will take some practice to get your et down. It sounds like you have the suspension on the car, youneed to dial it in.Our car has gone 11.89 @118 on basically full Saleen suspension and 20's in the front......does not weight transfer very much. When it does, it transfers it right back to the front .The car should easily be capable of 11.50s, but I need to change the shocks/struts, etc.
