Default Is this an exhaust leak

Hi. I wanted your opinion whether the sound I'm hearing is just the long tube headers or an exhaust leak. So I just installed my long tubes and when I start the car I get a ticking sound that quickly disappears (Different from standard engine sound). Is this just the headers heating up or is it a slight leak.

Thanks.

Never had long tubes, but when I got my shorties installed on my 06 , the drivers side O2 sensor on the header wasa little loose, causing a ticking kind of sound. It goes away when the car is warm?? If so, then I wouldnt think it would be a sensor.

I think I'll just take it to an exhaust shop to check it out. Only thing is the problem is only there when the car is cold.

I wouldn't worry about it.

It probably is an exhaust leak. Once the car warms up, the metal expands and closes the opening. Just check all the bolts to make sure they are tight and you will be good to go.
