The mustang is my wifes daily driver and what works for me is getting her involved like others have said, she and my kids enjoy going to shows and cruises so when I want to buy new parts I will show her how it looks on other cars and she agree's that her vert would look better with the new mods. I'ts both of our money so I dont need to hide anything from her, she loves the way her vert looks so she enjoys compliments from car guys when they pull up next to her. She comes home and tells me that some guys complimented her car. So get them involved, by the way my wife is pretty cool about anything it helps to have a cool wife.

Buy her one of these. She will then understand the obsession/ parts purchases. The only issue is when you get something she will want something also.
