well what ever you get, you need to get the adapter for the shift boot. i have the grabberpony one, real nice quality.

I got the one from grabberpony. The non polished one.

How do i disassemble the shift ****? I tried unscrewing it but it felt like it just kept turning and turning. Maybe i didn't twist it counterclockwise far enough?[&:]

JMO, but......2in is too big for a shift ****, and 2.25in is ridiculously big. I have the Haney Motor Sports pony shift ball, and it feels like I'm trying to palm a basketball. I hate it. Of course, I'm not using it.

The Hurst **** that comes with a Hurst shifter is 1.75in, which is a nice size.....perfect for shifting with two fingers and thumb.
I am now using the Steeda street pro billet shifter handle and ****. The **** is somewhere between 1.75in and 2in. It's a nice size too.

BTW, anyone want to buy the HMS shifter ****? I'll sell it really cheap.
I also have a Hurst **** from Jegs that I'll sell. They are both threaded 1.75x12......which fits the Steeda Tri-ax and previous model stangs, but not the S197 stock shift arm. They are both either 2in or 2.25in.

yah, you cant go wrong with mrt's shift *****, i had one on my stock shifter for awhile and i really liked it, now my buddy has it on his car.

1.75" is perfect. 2" is a bit large, but not crazy big. But the 2.25" MRT ***** are ridiculous. We bought one for the '05 and just couldn't deal with it. Felt like you were shifting with a shot put.

I used the Grabberpony adapter with the Roush ****. Very nice piece.
