Default Viper 5900

I'm looking into installing this alarm sometime soon. Has anybody who has this alarm added any otherDEI items along with the alarm? If so which items did you add? I'm looking at the back up battery(520T), digital tilt sensor(507M), Glass sensor(530T), and back up battery siren(515R).

Use the battery back up siren, tilt, omni, motion, and remote start. That's what I used on my Clifford Avantguard 5.1.

Glass Sensor has a lot of falses I wouldn't worry about using that one.

Also I dont remember which one the 5900 is, but if thats the 1/4 mile range you are wasting a lot of money for no reason. Get atleast something with one mile range. The 1/4 mile barely works for my friends truck which is like 200 yards away. If you are going to get 2way than get 1 mile range at a minimum.

Thanks for the help. The 5900 has 1 mile range and I think the alarm a step abovewith the color lcd remote is the one with the 1/4 mile range. I'll leave out the glass sensor. I might add in the window module along with what you recommended.

I think for that to work, you have to have the smartwindows from Ford which only came in the 05 mustangs. I am not 100% sure though.
