Default For those with a clear bra

Got a big issue with bugs on the front. I've scrubbed and scrubbed and I can still see like a 100 splatters all over the place. I'm afraid to wax in case that leaves the bra all hazy. Anyone have some good advice? I'm pretty ticked cause I know the bra is protecting from the chips, but this is relentless in trying to keep it looking normal.

I have never had a problem with mine, I use Meguires detailer all the time on mine and most bugs just wipe off. I do use a plastic polish once in awhile, and I do wax when waxing. As far as I am concerned the film was the best money I ever spent on my car!!

How long did you wait to clean it??? I would think it's like anything else, you have to keep it cleaned regularly or else it will stain.

My car wears a clear bra and as long as it is gently cleaned once in awhile it looks nice

Ha ha, I'd like to meet more of those women with clear bras!

I'm **** about washing my car, I'll wash it in the rain even (seriously). We have lots of bugs, so even if you go for a short drive you get plastered in em. There's no neglect going on here, not too worry! You can't see them from my pictures, but they are there when the light hits it just right...and it annoys the hell out of me.

i don't have any problem with mine but i don't get too many big bug splatters nor are they left on for long. car is washed very regularly.

i'm sorta surprised by your claim tho, i would think that wouldn't happen. maybe contact the installer or manufacturer for advice? post back and let us know what the end result was.

Red Stallion...are you saying the bra is on in the picture you posted? I HAVE to get one of these things, you can't see it at all! Very impressive.

As far as cleaning it...stop by the detailing section here. Justin can probably steer you in the right direction.

A coworker has the 3M clear bra professionally installed on his RX8. Its been on for over two years. His car is silver. I can see the clear bra a mile away. It has a slight tinge to it. He has the front and the hood covered. Maybe it hides well on other colors, but it sticks out on his.
