Default Acid bird ****?

Ive never heard of acid bird $hit but some just landed on my car. I tried washing it and waxing it with a heavy duty buffer but it still looks like the paint bubbled up or something. Its not too bad but anyone know how to get it out?

Depends on what the bird had for breakfast. Sounds like yours had somehot mexican food. If the paint has bubbled, you are SOL.

That sux.

The birds who lived near my old workplace used to feast on Blackberries and then practice their strafing/bombing runs on the cars in the car park [:@]

Try using a clay bar...either Mothers brand or Meguiars. Follow the instructions on the container and it may take care of the problem. Good luck!!

In hindsight, some washing and waxing would have
helped prevent the damage you now have. A good coat
of quality wax is your only defense against bird droppings.
The sun can really bake that $heit right into the paint. []

Looking at the Meguiar's How-to page. They say to use the ScratchX up to 3 applications applied with 'passion' (elbow grease)

STOP STOP STOP...

This just happened to me (pigeons) and all the guys in the detailing section told me to go to a detailer...mine happened to be a auto body guy.

It took him almost an hour with a buffer and 5 different grades of 3M polish to get them out...but they are gone now (even under a blacklight).

Any manual attempt will just add more for them to get out later. Tossed the guy a $50 and we were all smiles again.

I will NEVER park near wires again!

I have the same problem there are two spots on my car, that the paint bubbled up too. I had waxed my car a couple of times before the the spots appeared. Now I cannot get them out I have tried the clay bar (no luck) and buffed it to and (no luck). Its going into the dealership for a checkup and they are going to detail it at the same time. I will let you know if the spots go away after they work on it and what they use.
