Default Thoughts about the Steeda blackout panel

After looking over the car, the back is missing something, so I was thinking about either the black tail light bezels or the rear mylar panel from Steeda. Has anyone have this or know anything about it?? Its $60 and it says it held on by 3m tape, but dont know how the quality is. Any help would be greatly appreciated...again!

I thought getting the Steeda mylar panel to replace my crappy magnetic one. The price is right and it can't be worse than the magnetic. It's a nice alternative to the more expensive ABS plastic pieces. Let me know how you like it if you do get it.

Doesn't that one need to be painted though?
I was sick of my magnetic one as well, but a quick look at the classifieds netted me a slightly used SHR honeycomb panel for 100 shipped.

The mylar panel doesn't need to be painted.

Is the panel flat back or a simi-gloss? It's hard to tell. I have the magnet panel too and now that its over 2 years old its starting to get little wrinkles in it..........

I believe it's a semi-gloss since it's described as being similar to interior dash kits. It also looks kind of semi-gloss in the picture.

Wow, the 3D Carbon one is expensive!! I do like the finish on it though........
My body guy says he would paint the trunk area flat black for $40, I may go that way........
