As long as you V6 has TCS and ANTI-LOCK brakes it will be a direct swap. If not the dealer needs to set it up or you will get errors. Also ... if you have MYCOLOR you should swap with a MYCOLOR cluster ... and visa versa ..

on a side note, the plastic can be replaced easily if you go to a junk yard and get the plastic cover from a cluster there

to all you guys witht the v6's. unless you have already switched out the p.o.s driveshaft in the v6 you dont want to be going over 120mph. there is a couple of videos on youtube that have guys doing dyno pulls and their driveshafts explodes. there is a reason ford governed them to 108mph. who cares if someone elses speedo reads higher. races are won before the 100mph mark anyway. v6 in the 1/4 mile is less an 100mph. watch the driveshafts though.

Thats for the first generation V6 driveshafts with the pressed in
universal joint caps. The later version has snap rings that retain
the universal joint caps well past 115 MPH.

Different max MPH .. different RPM/REDLINE ....
