Detailing Products...What do you use?
Curious to know what other people are using on their leather, plastic, and so on.
My plastic pieces, which are black, seems slightly faded and I am worrying I am using a product that is harsh...my leather looks okay....
Any tips from the pros? What to use, what to stay away from?

for the outside black pieces use back to black I think the kind I have is mothers... works good on my truck and my mirrors on the stang... then after that dries hit it up with some armorall... works for me...

I use meguires quick interior detailer wipes for my interior plastic and stuff. it works much better than the armorall wipes for plastic. for leather, i use the armorall leather care protectant after wiping them down with the meguires detail wipes. the armor all leather stuff is much better than the meguires IMO. One other thing I do to keep my interior clean is that I bought a 15 dollar dirt devil from walmart. I use it once or twice a week to keep the carpets and seats spotless and I always get complemented by passengers on how new my car looks inside.

Also I used meguiars leather cleaner and protectant... its in a black bottle and my friend used some of mine on his BMW that hadnt seen any leather protectant in a long time and it soaked it right up... its like a paste but just rub it in and makes my leather look real good afterwards..

For vinyl, rubber, and plastic, 303 protectant is the best. It has no silicones, and UV protectant. Even on the "mothers" products forum they don't put it down. I've used it for years, and think it is the best at protecting.
For leather, I have been using the blue coral stuff. It goes on easily (I spray onto a cotton applicator then onto seats), then buffs off not-shiny.
Hope that helps. I'm a detailing fanatic, one of my favorite subjects.
