I'm just thinking if I had 4.10's, 1st gear would be worthless unless I'm slipping the clutch and eventually frying it(by this I mean when I go FI). I really don't know, but it's just my thoughts.

I figure 3.73's are a good compromise for a daily driver for now and the future.

i have my car set at 500rwhp right now on 4.10s... on the street 1st and 2nd are pretty useless. I take off from 2nd gear but if i stomp it they just spin and i dont use 1st unless on the track anymore haha.

i would go with a livewire tuner but that just my opinion. it is a little pricey. i would also go with 4.10s. what LTs you have in mind?

Well it's a done deal... I ordered...

JLT Cold air kit
SCT Handheld with 3 base tunes
Ford Racing 3.73
Steeda billet lower control arms
Relocation brackets
Street upper adj control arm
JBA L/T Headers
JBA Mid pipe with cats

I'm sure that's a good start. These are the first mods I'm doing and I'm sure it's not the last.

Nice. Are you going to do the install yourself? If so post up some pics on the headers because I am looking into getting the same ones next spring.
