ok so idk if anybody has seen the new flex but its pretty cool, i wouldnt buy it or anything cause for $40000 i would rather have a tahoe or something...but its a really neat ride, and one thing i really like is the fuel cap, or rather lack of fuel cap on it...its just a cover that all you have to do is push the nozzle into it and there is no cap to take off...idk yet if you have to press i button to get it to release and let you push the nozzle in or not yet, but i tried pushing it in with my finger and it was a big no go so nobody at all can mess with your gas or try to put crap in it or anything, and being in highschool i REALLY!!! want something like this....think there is any way to convert our to it or do i just need to wait til '10 or something and buy a new stang?

My wife has a new Flex with this, it's pretty convenient. No buttons or anything - you just open the fuel filler door, and push the nozzle in. There's a spring-loaded flap that keeps it sealed when the nozzle isn't inserted. It has more spring-power than most of those flaps, so there can be issues if you try to fill from a gas can that has one of those flimsy flexible plastic spouts. In that case, a stiff funnel is recommended (and included with the vehicle, stored near the spare tire).

Nice little feature, as you don't have to worry about getting gas on your hands putting the cap back on (selling point for women, especially).
