Default 2.8 Kenne Bell Install (Updated results and video's)

Well after a few hectic weeks we have finally started the install on my new Kenne Bell 2.8L blower. We decided to go ahead and get the blower broke in and the car tuned with the blower prior to installing the new Monster Mod 5.4L shortblock from MMR. We decided since we would also be Porting and Polishing the heads while changing the cams to the stage 3 comp cams it might be wise to have a working tune with the new blower first!

Here are a couple pics of the install earlier today. We hope to be doing the motor and heads next week but it depends on how the tuning goes today and tomorrow.

I thought you were going with the twins? Either way I'm sure you'll be very happy.

Well once the new shortblock is in (did I mention it's good for 1500 to 2000 HP ). We're going to spray the KB....Looking for 900 rwhp. I'd settle with 850 though!

Well we got a little more done this afternoon.

We had to order a new fitting for the fuel rail and have it overnighted (running out of room in there) and a new belt. I guess Kenne Bell didn't plan on me running an overdrive pulley with this blower!!

Anyways here is a couple of pic's!

(Hey finally got that thing to work!!!)

It shipped on Monday so maybe as early as tomorrow. We're going to put it in next week probably. We're porting and polishing the heads and installing some comp cams at the same time. Hope to have it done by the week after next.

We have an NMRA race coming up or I think we could have it done next week.
