$1200 isn't that bad for the shaker system. Just sucks you have to cut your hood up. Small price to pay for some of us I guess.

Ya i agree, cutting of the hood kind of sucks but the sound of it makes up the whine makes up for it!

I want to believe though that the S/C that comes with the Shaker System is different cause it sure sounds a hell of a lot louder than the other Saleen S/C I have heard.

Anyone know exactly what the kit will include yet? i.e. fuel pumps and what not?

The SC is exactly the same but the rotors (the part that makes the sound) is both free to the air (no hood), AND the rotors are open to the air. Normally the CAI blocks direct sound from the rotors because of it's shape, but there is no CAI on this so you hear both the direct supercharger sound and the indirect supercharger sound.

Which is why the s/c sound has so much presence.

Sweet, then depending on what additions it comes with, I think it would be better to buy a 500 or 550hp kit from Brenspeed minus the CAI of course and then buy the Shaker upgrade. Better bang for the buck since those kits come with better Fuel pumps and what not.

That is assuming the 7K shaker kit comes with the standard saleen parts and no upgrade beside what's required for the shaker.

I'd imagine it to be the upgrade kit with intercooler for the price and performance upgrade they are saying it has...

It looks great, but i hope it doesn't really sound like that. It sounds like an electric car!

Booz, I was thinking the same thing about the price. the base unit is $5130, the upgrade is $1250. but they're selling the package for $7000?!? something's not right...

No kidding I would be too congrats, but question for you since your running (if I remember) a lighting or Big Air 2400 & 60's what will you be using for a tune?

Will you be doing the install yourself?

If so look foward to a review and on the install.

It definately wouldnt suprise me if a custom tune got 30rwhp out of it! Im right with you, i want it for the looks and sound.. it adding performance it just a bonus for me. I really dont know what senor it is using i was curious about that too, if i find out i will let you know.
I reviewed that video you posted a few more times imo sounds like they are using the stock MAF sensor as they do not mention a new one just that they (state) relocated (along w/TB) where the maf sensor will go and no mention of a newer or larger one. So sounds like they are using the factory stock sensor.
