Hey hows it going guys Im kinda new hear and I picked up my 05 Mustang last week and I want to put some black 20's on it or some black 19's preferrably with a chrome lip. I wanted to see if anyone on here had some ideas of good rims and maybe some pictures aswell. Im looking for Ideas on which rim to pu on my car. I think that with the silver the black rim is perfect to offset the silver. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just keep in mind the trade off for going to 19s or 20s... stiffer ride, less traction, etc.

I put 20x8.5 Foose, Nitrous wheels on toyo 245/35/20's tires in the front and 20x10 on the rear sittin on 275/30/20's. check www.mhtwheels.com.

The numbers below are the one that fits the mustang. It's a simple 5 spoke black 20 inch wheel with a good sized chrome lip. Very sharp.

Too much Bling for the stang unless your out to create the first "PimpStang"

18" are the largest that you should go to keep a muscle car look..if you buy 20's and up they should come with a fuzzy pink Fedora! (Fedora is a hat..for those not old enough to remember)

Im with JM2005, 20's are overkill.

To me 20"+ chrome wheels scream ghetto.[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]

Get some gold crown air fresheners and some curb feelers too![sm=icon_rock.gif]

I generally try to keep things on the positive side and not start any flames, but I've seen TOO many posts about 20's lately - I just have to chime in here. Thanks to the few of you that actally answer the question. This guy asked for your help on 19's or 20's that are black and with a chrome lip because that is what HE wants to do. He didn't ask for your opinions on why he shouldn't do. What one person finds cool (apparently Steve Saleen and many others) other people find to be ghetto or pimpster. We all have our opinions indeed - but keep them to yourself if you don't have a positive answer to the guys question.

John - see my pic below if you want to see how well 20's fit the car. Call it gansta, ghetto, pimpster or whatever some of you desire - but most people call it just plain awesome [8D] Including me - and THATS what matters.

John - I personally think a silver car with black rims/chrome lip would look cool - but I think a SILVER lip would look even better! Or maybe a black lip with silver or chrome inners.
