I don't think they will rub, but why
would you want to run that size in
front? Going 18x10 all around?

No. I need 2 new front tires and I found a guy selling 2 285/40/18 Eagle F1s for 260 with only 4K miles on them.

Those tires are a little wide for the front.

Whats the rim width and offset on the fronts?
That determines if they will fit along with the tire size.

they fit the front with minimal rubbing, but it depends on the offset of the wheels too

Thats 14mm less than the 18x8.5" 50mm offset Bullitts.
Thats 14mm difference but the width is also 12.5mm different.
Looks like the same from the hub to the inside rim but 12.5mm
farther out to the outer rim.
285/40-18s
285/25.4= 11.22" tread width
x .40 = 4.488" sidewall height
x 2 + 18 = 26.97" tall
x 3.14159 = 84.75" round

Looks to be smaller than the stock 18" size tire.

235/50R18
9.251" WIDE
27.251" TALL
85.641" ROUND
740 REVS / MILE

They might fit but it wont allow lock to lock full suspension travel
turning without installing the 18" steering stops on the steering rack.

For vehicles with 17" wheels from the factory:
-installing 18" x 8.5" or 18" x 9.5" wheels, use steering stop 6R3Z-3932-CA
