Where did you mount your racing tach?
#6
Wow...really? I used to have a racing tach on my '69 Olds 442 as well. I'm not talking about a ricer gauge cluster. Ford Racing makes a nice one that I was looking at.
Reasons FOR a racing tach.
1) They are usually more accurate than the stock Tach.
2) they have a mechanical memory to recall/ verify
3) they can be preset to flash at certain RPMs. If you have used your dyno info to devise a shift stratagy, this helps you maintain it with a no-look shift.
