Ever Seen This Rear Bumper?
1 Attachment(s)
I was in the Grand Cayman Islands about three weeks ago and saw what looks like a 2005-2006 Mustang GT, based on the wheels. I noticed something very strange about the rear bumper, it had two recessed areas on either side of the license plate. It looks like there are two large "holes", term used loosely, with plastic inserts which fit it into them. Has anyone seen this bumper before? Aside from that, it looks very stock, maybe an overseas version? Anyway it was the only aspect of the car which looked different than mine. Oh...and yeh, it has Magnaflow Magnapacks installed.

bumper
i think the only bumper inserts that i have seen are on the roush.
|
its a stock bumper with roush inserts. i dont see those inserts on the roush site anymore but they used to be there.

They are inserts from roush. I think they are expensive. You just cut a hole in the gt bumper to put them in
|
whats the point of them?
|
i dont think there is a point
|
so you can put a flashbang in it so when someone is riding too close, flip a switch and BANG! game over. lol

$125 per
Roush parts arent cheap but they do add some character to the bumper. Unfortunately mine didnt come with them fron the factory and I am not spending $250 to add them, http://www.mustangdepot.com/OLC3/Exterior/bkit-rsh.htm |
