Default throttle body problem after installing JLTII SCTX3 91 tune

I just recently tuned my 2007 Mustang GT (SCT x3 91) and it worked well until yesterday. The throttle body went crazy after shifting to 3rd gear and the throttle got stuck. I shifted to neutral and it accelerating until i shut the engine off. I turned the car back on and it did the same thing with out me pushing the gas pedal. I called the Ford Dealer and since I still had warranty on the car they replaced the throttle body and told them me that tune send off throttle body to off. I don’t know if this has happened to anyone else. I want to tune my car but I’m not sure if it will do the same thing again. Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks,

I don't understand this part in your story...the wording seems a little messed up. What'd you mean here?

I've yet to hear of a confirmed issue where a tune caused the throttle body motor to go to 'off'
I have read of many times where the motor failed in the stock throttle body.
I suppose anything is possible & I'd contact your tuner prior to reloading the tune, just have them review it for a possible issue.

Most likely, the motor just failed & Ford is trying to put the blame elsewhere.

I've been running a JLT2 & 93 tune for about 32K now & have had no issues.

They had to blame it on something. And they usually will always blame it on something you did. In that case, I usually just listen and so... "Oh really, wow, I Didn't know that." Then I will do whatever they tell me not to do right in front of them cause I know they are idiots.

But I wouldn't hold off on tuning my car ever.

Are they covering the TB under warranty? I'd use this as a chance to upgrade to a GT500 TB.
