Default First time ever at track!! timeslip included

Just wanted to say I had so much fun going to the track for the first time. I don't think I did to bad for my first time. The car was awesome no hiccups nothing took the runs like a champ I did about 6 runs. I should have went to the track sooner! Here is my timeslip with street tires.

Looking good...if you had your 60 ft time down you could have gotten REALLY low 12s...

Yeah I agree, that 60' times are hard... I did 5 runs 12.8 13.3 one was 13.8 and 14.4 really bad slip.

I learned that street tires DO NOT like a good burnout they just like to be wiped clean. I learned to hold the brakes and gas to about 2000 rpm. My tries worked the best at 28 PSI. I learned so much tonight I can't wait to go back. I was nervous everytime but had a blast.

-Thanks for the comments!

Nice man glad you had fun, thats what its all about. Street tires are hard to work with compared to slicks... just takes practice.

Your going to love the track, the guys are darlington were a ton of help everyone there took the time to explain and show me how everything works. I have a really good understanding about the lights on the tree and where an 1/8 stops and the 1/4 stops. It's one thing to be told what to do but it's another to see how everything works. A+ to Darlington race track.

If I thought my car could hold it I would have done run after run, it was just to much fun.

Yeah from what I've heard you just need to do a little tire spin...no smoke on street tires. I plan on making my first pass later in the year when I get a helmet and finish the suspension lol

Good luck it's a blast! I didn't need a helmet until my last run they wouldn't let me continue w/o one. The best part is I can only improve from here!

slicks and a 1.7 short time will get you into the 11's. easy. 2.2 short time is horrible.. Your car is running well.. congrats
