Do you need to buy new shocks & struts when you get lowered? I keep hearing different views on that.

Also - do you need a panhard rod? I'm thinking not since your rear wheel still looks centered inside the wheel well.

well, a lot of people will tell you yes, but... the fact is, the suspension geometry does not change enough when going 1.5 inches or less to require the use of different struts, panhard bar, 3rd link etc, etc. what you do need though is an allignment. its cheap and easy and will save you tires like no tomorrow.

the main reason i did not do a panhard bar and 3rd link was i called the guy at the ford dealer that does all the frpp stuff and he said the springs and allignment were all i needed to do to properly lower the car. he even said it wont void the suspension warranty.

Im deff gonna have to get these they look like the perfect drop!! It looks nice man, good job!! Do you plan on getting new wheels any time soon?? Or maybe some spacers in the back so that the tires stick out a little more even with the fender!! Just a thought...

nice, I know lowering a car makes you loose ride quality, but question is by how much. how much bouncier/stiffer is it from stock?
