Default New Tune needed with gear change?

I just had the rear gears changed out to 4.10s. Took the Stang to the track to check em out. I noticed that on the 2nd to 3rd shift it felt like the motor was low on the rpms coming onto third. I did not notice what rpm it shifted at. I am running a 93 Brenspeed tune right now. I did change the gear ratio in my ecu with an xcal2. Plus I hit 4th just before crossing the 1/8 mile finish line. I think I should be just topping out 3rd. 1/8 mile top speed was 84 and little change.

The adjustment you made with your xcal
is only for the speedo.

Since you have an auto, I suggest you get
a new tune from bamachips, where Doug
adjusts your shift points for the new gears.

I'm going for 3.73s soon, how do you like
the 4.10s on the auto?

I've heard the shiftpoints for auto are best optimized with the Bamachip tune. Gear setting should be adjustable via optional parameters but it sounds like you got that straight.
