thanks darkfiregt! i had never seen the dock -> 3.5mm connector before either; i just bought it from your link!

The problem with this is that you have power and sound running in the same cord, so you will get some interference. It's like running your power line for your subwoofer amp next to the rca cables.

No problem. Believe me, it took me a while to find out about them as well. I was less than happy with the output from the standard headphone jack.

Of course, I have a Pioneer P8000-BT now.
