Default odd noise during acl/dcl

Cruising along on the freeway is the main time I notice this. During those times where I ease off the gas or only slightly put it down I hear an unusual noise that is very hard to locate and even harder to describe. Is this a common thing? If so, what is the service bulletin info I'll need? I plan on getting it in for the gas tank and CD player fixes in the near future and might as well get this fixed at the same time. It's also due for its second oil change

I have an 05 V6 Automatic....

You will need to be more specific. I hear things all the time on the freeway but nothing too serious (yet) to take to the dealer for. I'm gonna knock on wood now.

There is a TSB out for transmission replacements due to noise during decel. Might read through it and see if that is your noise.

Is that only for the automatic transmission or the manual as well?

I test drove a GT when I was thinking about ordering one...

I heard a LOUD strange noise sometimes during heavy acceleration and on some of the power turns.

Turned out - it was just the salesman screaming!

Just out of curiosity...Anyone else have a popping floor board up towards the pedals?

I stop by to drive some of the Mustangs at the dealership. (I have to stay in good form for when mine gets in you know.) I've thought about openning it up all the way, but then again there will be time for that with my new 05'.

I'm just a newbie. But I’m also experiencing the popping sound under the pedals and a metal to metal vibration sound in my manual transmission during deceleration. I've already been to the dealership five times and have had two catalytic converters replaced, one exist pipe replaced, an engine coil replaced and two screws added to my bell housing. My GT only has 750 miles on it and the service engine soon light is on more than my shaker1000. Anyone else have all of these problems?? Help a newbie out. Please

Someone else was talking about the popping under the pedals / feel like the floorboard was moving. I think it ended up being a lose sway bar ( dont remember for sure, but you can search for it ).

There is a TSB out that describes the transmission decel issue. If they find metal in it, they replace it, period.

Your problem is not a whining noise from the engine / front end is it?

I am still trying to figure that one out. Dealer is too.
Not to mention my 10 miles to the gallon. 99% of my driving is at 45-55 mph not too much traffic and I drive it like a granny.
