off road h-pipe with boomtubes?

Question off road h-pipe with boomtubes?

hey guys I was thinking of putting on a off road h-pipe with my boomtubes would the sound be to much or would it sound even better with it, any comments please.

I have this setup. i think it sounds amazing and have gotten nothing but compliments. i did have to add a pair of inline resonators (read: tiny, straight thru mufflers) right after the h section. without them it was INSANE. once i added them, it's still very, very loud...but it's more refined. the below clips are the final product, after adding the resonators.

I heard that x pipes are the way to go on our cars. But it all depends on your sound preference, but I also heard the x's allow more hp.

that is somewhat true. from most of my research, the x pipe will gain maybe 2-3 hp over an o/r h about 5k rpm. is that enough to actually feel?? probably not. the decision between the two simply relies on the sound. typically h is deeper, x is a bit raspier.....

i have heard that an x pairs nicely with magnaflows like you have!!

I actually get the longtube headers and the x pipe on sunday so im excited! And by the way harraid, your car sounds really good

x sounds insane with the magnaflows, I got lt headers also though
