off road h-pipe with boomtubes?
hey guys I was thinking of putting on a off road h-pipe with my boomtubes would the sound be to much or would it sound even better with it, any comments please.

I have this setup. i think it sounds amazing and have gotten nothing but compliments. i did have to add a pair of inline resonators (read: tiny, straight thru mufflers) right after the h section. without them it was INSANE. once i added them, it's still very, very loud...but it's more refined. the below clips are the final product, after adding the resonators.

that is somewhat true. from most of my research, the x pipe will gain maybe 2-3 hp over an o/r h about 5k rpm. is that enough to actually feel?? probably not. the decision between the two simply relies on the sound. typically h is deeper, x is a bit raspier.....
i have heard that an x pairs nicely with magnaflows like you have!!
