well, i want to give a big thanks to "Nels GT" for the idea and his amazing how-to thread. i followed his process and finally got up the courage to attempt it myself. it was actually pretty simple as long as you just take your time and dont cut any corners.

Speaking of, I wonder what happened to him. He lives in my area, but we never met up. He disappeared. Looks like he logged on last month, but hasn't posted in months. I'm thinking he may have sold his car.

I've seen a couple of TR GT's with white stripes for sale at dealerships, including one where he bought his at (sans side stripes), so it's quite possible that was his.

Nice, the only thing that could improve it is to fill the hole and have it painted so there is nothing there at all.
