Default Question about a RK Style Hood

So I was looking at some toys for my mustang and found this hood: http://cruizinconceptswholesale.com/...IRHOOD&cat=309

It looks pretty similar to the Cervini one that I was eyeing. And this pup is just shy of $300!

Does anyone have this hood that can post pictures so I can see it from different angles? Where there any problems installing it? Is it a good quality hood? I'm a bit worried that there is a “reason” why it’s so cheap.

Thanks for your help!

Looks like the shipping is free if you buy a hood or body kit, so it's really just under 300 bucks not including tax.

Does no one have this hood?

Just got off the phone with them.
Shipping wise it is $184 but ANYTHING else that can fit on that pallot is free of shipping there after. So we squashed that issue.

I asked if the vents are open - yes
Fitment - will require bodyshop work not a bolt on

now that we've got that out the way and i'm ready to call them back to place the order. How much does prep & paint go for on a hood ..

Come one guys with cool hoods. spill the beans

I was quoted $547 for paint top and bottom and to do my legends splitter in factory white. Lifetime warranty on peeling, flaking or bubbling.

I know on my Ram Air hood my body shop guy said it was a headache. It required quite a bit of prep. It came out really nice but if I had to go back I would have purchased a better quality hood. As for pricing on the prep work, I can't really give you a total on mine as I had several other pieces painted and installed at the same time.

For the hood I use to have below in my sig, prep work and paint cost about 600 bucks. You will probably get quoted around the same price.

eddypython, if you get this hood, please let me know how it goes for you! My e-mail is snoojie@hotmail.com I'm really interested in this. I can't afford it as of yet though so I have to wait a while anyway (I hope it's still on sale then!)
