Question about lowering springs...
I have a horrendous wheel gap in the rear of my car...and I have a set of Steeda lowering springs for the back. I am curious....is this a bad idea to only install the springs in the rear of the car? I have been hestitant as:
1. I am not sure how to do it, and 2. Will it look ok with only the rear end lowered?
Here is a picture of the car at its current stock height:
I think the front end sits low enough as is.....I don't believe around here it would be good idea to take it any lower. Hopefully lowering the back will pivot that front up a little?
I suppose I could always just have it installed and try it....and then if it doesn't work out, take them back off........?

have you considered the lowering kit offered by KaleCoAuto? It's very inexpensive and I've heard nothing but good reviews on it:

Wow, those springs look like they have just been put on. I agree that your tires look small. The stock tires are 27.2 inches in tire height diameter. Standard 255/45/18's are 27". Your tires look like they are 26.4" inches or so.
Also, I'd go with the Saleen springs, they lower the car 1" only, and you do need your fronts lowered as well, even though you have a chin splitter like me. Erik

well, our cars have an aggressive stance to begin with meaning the rear end sits up higher than the front from the get-go...if you lowered the rear, it might bring it down enough to make the car level, but any lower than that and you'll be bulldog and thats not what our cars should look like....i say, before spending your cash on some new rear tires, try the rear springs first to see if they turn out as you hope and if not, then new rubber might be what you need!
