Default GT500 throttle body and spacer installed!

The only change I noticed was throttle response increase. That’s a plus but was it almost 400 dollars worth? I'm not sure yet. I still have to relocate the power steering res since the carbon fiber inlet tube smashes against it. Right Now I have it tilted sideways in the engine bay doesn't look neat at all. Not sure what I'm going to do about this yet but everything works. . Did some data logging HP with the aeroforce gauge and didn't notice any changes. When I went WOT from a 30 roll I did notice a bigger umph seat of the pants feeling.

Need to do some more driving but there was a ton of traffic out for 1PM. There are no problems with drivability everything is perfect.

Here is a picture so you can see what im talking about, sorry the engine bay is dirty I just drove 2000 miles and have not cleaned it yet.

Notice my blower required to relocate my reservoir by the passenger side strut tower. You can get this as an accessory from Paxton to relocate yours. It was a simple move. Part # for the assembly in my parts list was a master# which included all brackets, bolts, etc. Just reverify with them what you will be getting, if you get it from them: 8N155-080.

This is where I mounted it, does anyone know if this is to low that it will cause any problems It sits directly under the intake tube.

yes I had to remove the paint off the radiator cover, when I went to the track I had a massive blower on it and the blower tore the paint up.

hey that worked out nicely, i also like
mellow's option.

i think as long as the reservoir is higher than
the rest of the system, it should be fine...

+1 mellows looks real clean.

If I ever start showing my car I will have to look into some underhood upgrades, although I cant think of any as good as my "intake cover"

Thanks for the comments, it seems to be working well. I'm going to paint the metal black so you can't see it.

Nothing seems to out of the ordinary on my AFR. I notice a big difference when you go WOT from lower speeds has a bigger oumph you can really feel it. Throttle response is a lot more sensitive. The seat of the pants feeling from 60mph seems to have changed. Since I'm automatic it feels like the car won't drop into 3d from that speed anymore. Will see what it means at the track next week.

nice.... from your description, it sounds
as if the blade reacts quicker to pedal
position
