I wish someone would just sell flat black rear emblems. Looks like I'll have to have someone do it.

I bet if Southern sold black ones for a good price they would have a hit. Just my .02 ceents.

I put in a separate post a few weeks back, but I'll reply here too.

I ended up taking the Shelby badge I had, popping out the center piece, and replacing it with a new satin black disc. Then I took a '68 repop GT emblem, machined it down flat, gave it a brushed finish, and clearcoated it.

I made matching GT badges for the fenders as well. Modern interpretation of the old style. I used the Shelby badge because the center piece was separate (normal GT is just a sticker), and it was not chrome, but rather satin (which is what I wanted).
