Exclamation GT500 splitter and driveway problem. Need some help.

Ok so I decided to put a GT500 splitter on my GT.

After doing the required mods to make it fit the car I LOVE IT.
Major problemo though.

When I pull up into the driveway... I am scraping the bottom of the splitter.
If I go in at an angle sometimes I can manage to get it without scraping but it is a REAL pain in the ***.
Now... it is only scraping the bottom really of the splitter, maybe a small part of the edge too but its not like it is gonna knock the splitter off or anything.

What I was wondering is, is there anything I can do to my driveway to prevent this? I am thinking about putting a slight coat of concrete over the driveway but ..... wouldnt that just make two slabs of concrete? It wont
actually bond to the already made driveway... or will it?

What else could I do that might also work or would be easier and at the same time.....would not trash out the way the driveway looks?

Ideas people?
Thanks!

If you dont have any regs against it in your area lay down a 2-3 inch piece of pipe the width of your drive and pour yourself a concrete ramp.

Laying new concrete over the old is just going to quickly crack under the weight of the car almost as soon as you drive on it w/o the proper thickness or reenforcement.
Try backing into the driveway, since your car isn't lowered and the rear is taller then the front that bit of difference might be enough since you are close to not scraping anyway.

yeah, you probably won't be able to get around this problem for the most part. i put a gt500 splitter on my car about a year and a half ago, and the bottom scrapes stuff all the time, but it's not even close to being damaged enough to need a new one. going in at an angle does help, though. as long as it scrapes just the bottom, even though it is annoying as all get out to you (it is to me anyway) it is low enough to the ground no one will notice it.

man, this post started to sound kinda dirty at the end :P

Is your car lowered? Do you have aftermarket rims with a smaller height than the stock ones?
You can try different front springs to raise the chin or higher profile tires.

i have the same problem, front of the car is stock height and i'm using stock wheels/tires. i just deal with. When i get the front lowered and the cdc chin i'll have to come up with something.
