Probably not the right place for this but wanted to post to my fellow S197 owners.

These are after a surge from Ike swamped Bridge City, TX. I had thoughts of riding it out until I heard about a surge and seeing as we were on the bad side of the storm, I took heed and got out of harms way.

My house sustained a foot of water, while many others got up to at least 8 feet.

I have been seeing a lot of nice cars that were left behind that are being totaled from water damage. Our office manager has two Thunderbirds, an '05 and a '65ish, both of which got damaged. He's looking to restore the old one and replace the new one. Breaks my heart when I see all the fine cars being towed away.

I was wondering if there are any other MF'rs that were in Ike's path.

That sucks to see. I've been through a few, and have been very lucky.

Wow. I spent like 30 seconds looking at your car and trying to find out what was wrong with it. It was only at this point that I looked at the surroundings.

Sorry to hear about this. Good luck getting everything back to normal. Glad you and your car are okay.

Oh, nice car by the way!
