I'm almost always against the dealership installing anything! lol. They charge you on average 15 dollars more than a regular shop per hour for labor, and their parts are a good 50% mark up a lot of times too. I hate dealerships when adding stuff to my car. Do it yourself!

So I really like the retro look of the Hurst...are the other shifters THAT much better to compensate for the look?

Hurst won that shootout.

i ordered the regular hurst because if i was going to pay almost 300 i would get the mgw.

thanks to this forum and the people in it, i installed the hurst with ease...however, i have a lift in my garage, so that helped...get this , the hardest part for me was reinstalling the shifter 'dust' boot.lol

If you can change a tire then you can install the shifts. If you can't change a tire then take it to the stealership.
