Imo, i can't get close enough to my termi(that i should have never sold).......the stingers sound good and so do the steeda's, but it's just not a 4v.......very happy with the stock h and boom tubes, and i give up trying exhaust changes!!!!!

just put on a pypes offroad X. had slp loudmouths... had to throw the stock mufflers on because it was wayyyy too loud and raspy... i like a deep rumble. can anyone help? i've actually been contemplating putting my stock H and slp's back on; liked that sound much more. is there a cat back that will work well with my x pipe and give me a deep rumble as opposed to the raspiness?

Also have the stock exhaust plus boomtubes. I love the sound but want more volume. Thinking about going with a high flow H and kooks LT. Wonder how that will sound. Hopefully pretty close to the way it does now except louder.

The main problem is the 3V head design, it's superior to the 2V but it doesn't have the appealing sound. I have the steeda axleback and the drone between 2000-3000 is getting more obnoxious, especially with the windows up, as it sounds tinny. My fiancee actually plugs her ears when I'm accelerating through that band of drone, the frequency hurts her ears.

Well my set up is Pypes O/R catted X-pipe with Borla AB stingers and it has a nice deep rumble and is not too loud and not raspy at all. I think the key was the high flow cat's but I do plan on putting on a set of BBK shorty headers which should deepen the tone even more.
