No, the interest rate will get you in the end. Wait until you could pay cash for the kit. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but if you could afford the extra 4k why did you not buy a GT in the first place?

I live in Kingwood and two of my buddies up here have Hellion Turbos... both got the kit from Brenspeed. Not sure what sort of kit you're getting for $4k...

My philosophy (which has served me well) is if you can't pay cash then you can't afford it... besides, with the condition the economy is in do you really think it's wise to get further in debt?

yup, took me about 6 or 7 months to save up for my paxton, it's definentally tough being a college student, but it was well worth the wait. just put a little aside each week, it's amazing how fast money can build up.

Also be prepared for the engine to break more too. I had a ranger with the 4.0 v6 and IIRC about 300whp is its limits.

There have been several examples of the 4.0 being pushed far beyond 300rwhp.

On stock internals? Oh and I was forgetting that the trannies are probably different in the ranger and 4.0 stang, and the tranny could've been the weak spot, but I forget. Don't flame me, I probably am wrong.
