Ive got the second one. Its from Roush. looks perfect on the car, but if you get it, make SURE it fits down all the way before final installation! And also, the front few inches of the scoop are not bolted down. I had the bodyshop epoxy it down for good measure. Everyone loves the looks of it!

Check out this hood Scoop. It's a replica of the 1969 -70 Mach 1. Cool thing is you can put the turn signal markers on the back of the hood scoop just like the Mach 1. It's only $129.

1969 Mach 1's came several ways... this is my favorite.

Shaker hood's the best!!!

CDC keeps promising to have theirs soon. It's a bit pricey though. I'm going to go with the hood scoops and save the money for some other mods.

CDC is definitely pricey... I hope they get some competition and we see better pricing. I want -- no, need -- a shaker, so I'm going to keep looking until I see the right shaker at the right price. Hell, I might even try to find a used one, and fab it up myself. That would be fun!

Did you guys see this one yet?

I have been installing them for my local dealers and can't get them fast enough. It is styled after the Boss 429 style hood scoop.

I have been doing them in Flat Black and also color matched to the car. There are some more pictures in the gallery of a Silver with black, a Sonic Blue Conv. and more of the Black GT with the Razzi Body kit.

It is. But the entire scoop unit is aluminum like the originals, this accounts for a lot of the extra cost. Would be much cheaper to do plastic, but not nearly as cool/ retro.

I looked that scoop up and it says it had 2 bolts included for installation. Does that mean id have to drill? I can't find anything else on the boss scoop.

I like the look of the first one, but haven't actually seen it installed on a car other than the one shown above. Does anyone have this? What's the quality like, got pictures, problems with it, etc. Otherwise I'm leaning towards the Roush.

I don't much care for any of them, although I do like the hood on the black "cobra" somebody posted earlier with the vents on either side.
