leaking by the fusebox cover? carpet mold?

leaking by the fusebox cover? carpet mold?
there is water by the fusebox cover on the inside of the car and the carpet is like soaked completely on the passenger floor and i was wondering what it could be...i took it to the dealer today and they are going to try and fix it but i was just wondering what could be causing it...i rarely drive in the rain and i never leave the windows down?
