I am new to this site but have visited several times so bare with me. I ordered my car April 25th and my salesman called and told me that I have a build date and a VIN number. I was so excited that I forgot to ask him what the build date or serial number even was. I even called to confirm throguh the 800 number and it said my car has been serialized.

How long after the build date will I get my car and I want to upgrade my wheels is this possible if my car has been serialized??

Typically, 2-3 weeks after the build date for delivery.

You are very lucky. What options did you order? My order date is 3/11 and I'm still not serialized. You already have a build date, WOW. Consider yourself very very lucky. You should have your car in a couple of weeks I would think.

I think once you have a VIN and build date, your options are locked in and can't be changed.. Lucky &^%$(&@^

You can change your options but the process will start all over again. Did you order a V6 or GT. If a V6, he may be able to trade wheels with another on the lot if he has one. If you ordered a GT, not so lucky unless he has one or two of them setting around.

I just spoke to the salesman again and he said the car is already built, gave me the vin and should be delivered within the next two-three weeks. I figured I was very lucky to get one so fast. He also said the he doesn't think I would be able to change the rims since it was already built.
