Default Comp Cams Stage 2......VSR or SPR

so I know the difference, but is there going to be a huge power difference between the 2, all i notice is that they say the SPR will have a rougher idle...lemme know your thoughts and opinions..

I have the comp stage 2 SPR. They produce about 15-20rwhp and rwtq more than the VSR. The main thing though is when you use the phaser limiters that the SPR require, you dont lose low end torque like you do on the VSR.

That gives you an idea what it sounds like stage 2 with phaser limiters and springs!

Edit: imo the idle is fine it isnt too lopey at all. Everyone has a different personal pereference though.

i honestly dont know if you need new retainers or not, i went ahead and replaced mine since it was all apart anyways. You may call comp and ask them if you can use stock or not with their application. I love the way it idles and it drives awesome, i would recommend it to anyone looking for good performance out of cams.

Speaking of cams, which ones will give you the most HP increase that are at the same time ok for a daily driver?
