Jeez, that's a helpful reply from a manufacturer.

What struts do you have? The hood should fully compress....r u. sure the install is correct? I read to flip the gas springs (if applicable) and that should help. R they install upside down? Just throwing some thought out there.... My Cervinis hood never bows and closes with just a foot drop no problem....Redline might cost more but they know the struts they make and sell..... JMO I am sure my Trufiber one will too (once painted)

There are two people in our mustang club that had them on their cervinis equipped hoods, and they would bow up their hoods too. I'm not sure what brand they had. It's why I haven't got them either.

I also had the redline tunning kit and it didn't work with my seibon cf hood it would not fully compress and as a result bow the back edges of the hood I'm looking for a sissor type kit that I saw on another mustang during the summer but have had no luck finding it so far, the design folded in half when you closed the hood and locked in place with slight pressure when it was up pretty neat wish I could find the place that makes it

Yep, they were installed correctly. The main problem I beleave was that the struts were made to hold open a stock hood which is a LOT heavyer than my hood.
