Default nankang 255/35/zr20?

i found a good deal on some used 20 inch anthracite bullitts from americanmuscle, a local guy is selling them with about 3000 miles on them. the tires are nankang 255/35/zr20. I've looked up this tire and i haven't found much information except it seems pretty cheap. can anybody give me some info on if i should get these or not? he wants 900 total, he says he payed 1300

I've heard that 20's on the 4.6L's will zap some power. I'd expect that to be magnified on a V6. Maybe other's will chime in. Also, I've never heard of Nankang tires. I wouldn't dare put rubber on my car without knowing about them and how they perform.

id take them if the rims were in good shape. 3000 mi is nothing and its expensive as hell to mount/balance 20s (around here atleast)

i think my car with 20s and c&l intake with brenspeed 87 tune is faster or atleast feels noticeably faster than 17in bullitts and stock tune. not to mention gets almost identical gas mileage.

i dont really care all that much about speed, its an auto v6 with no performance mods and i doubt i will do anything performance-wise besides maybe exhaust.

and to vader: how do you like them? they perform fine?

im going to see if i can make the deal for 800 cash tomorrow. i'd say thats a good deal for practically new 20's
