Spark Plugs
 

I just got new spark plugs the autolite Ht0 are these easy to install? will the car run the same ? or should i just wait till i get a tune for all the stuff i will be putting on?

What exactley are you putting on?

Aren't the HT0's a colder application which I believe is best used on a supercharged or turbo car? If you are not running a power adder then I would suggest not putting them in. Running a colder plug on a stock motor won't gain you anything and there is no tune alone out there that should call for you to run a colder plug. Would someone correct me if I am wrong?

I am going to be putting on C&L Racer intake and charge motion plates.

well if you are changing your plugs for the first time, make sure to let you car sit overnight so the block is cold and then take them out. when you put the new ones in make sure to put never seize on them and after that you should have no problems removing again. if you remove them when you car is hot you have a chance of striping the sockets and cause damage also the plugs are notorious for breaking so be careful steady pressure when removing. good luck

Read the TSB. It was no big deal for me but my car is an 06 with 7K miles. On a NA motor HT0's don't make any sense. Until you are over 500HP at the crank they are not needed. Not sure if they really will cause any problems on a NA motor but the reason for the colder plug is to reduce detonation on a FI motor.

I put them in my car because I run nitrous but it still felt a little peper but it could be in my head...lol

I had them installed in my car and it felt much better afterwords.
