Finally here after 6mo, 1 wk and 1 day!
I ordered my baby on November 11, 2004, and everytime I followed up on my baby the dealer would tell me, Sorry.
Well, he called me last Thursday and told me my car would be ready to pick up on Friday (May 20) at 4 pm. Well, that day was a pretty long day for me but he finally turned over the keys and I was driving off the lot. She is an amazing ride. First thing Saturday morning I gave her a good wash and shine.
For those of you who have been waiting as long and fustraded as I was, like 05GreyGT, she's worth the wait. Please don't hold this against me, but during my wait I almost bought a Mazda RX-8 (I'm glad I didn't). I'm glad I held out and most of it is attributed to this forum.

WOW 6+ months, Your patience is an inspiration.
I've been tempted to buy a v6 off the lot rather then waiting, but after reading this, I'll hang in there.

Wow, that is a long time. Glad you finally got your car. I think I still would have kicked my dealer in the ***** before peeling out of the lot though. Lol.
I mean really, if the dealer had been up front about his allocations and your priority in line would you have waited that long? I'm pretty sure the answer is HELL NO!

Congrats. I am only 6 weeks into the waiting game and dont think I will make it. Been doing daily searches and may settle for a V6 rather than the GT I ordered to make sure I get it in Sonic Blue since that color isnt available in 06! I cant wait......................
