Default HURST rattle

i just installed my hurst billet shifter today. i love it, except once I get around 2,500 RPM and higher it rattles pretty darn loud. i checked every nut and bolt. i took the ball off and drove and the rattle went down drastically. i teflon taped the shift arm threads and put the ball on but still no luck. I'm going to give hurst a call on Monday. Anybody else have this problem and fix it? ...thanks

been rattling since day one here.

i've done: upgraded hardware with new nuts, bolts, lock washers, and blue locktite, and cobra bob shifter gaskets. still rattles.

i am going to buy an mgw to fix this thing once and for all.

Mine sometimes rattles when I am "chugging" it, I downshift and it solves the problem.

i thought the new and improved hurst wasnt supposed to rattle. mine rattles pretty bad, buts it from early 07 too. shelbys website i guess has fix for it, to cut the exhaust hangers at the tranny crossmember. i havent done anything to that extreme yet
