Default Clamp not doing its job...

Okay, so ever since i had my headers installed my right muffler wont stay in place. It stuck out a good 3 inches, so i took it to the place i got it installed and he fixed it up real quick.. about a week later, same thing. I left it for a week or so, then i went over to friends and switched the stingers out for stockers (just for the change) and when i put my stingers back on, they were perfect. A week later, sticking out 3 inches again, i got under there and noticed the muffler was almost off... so i shoved it into place and tightened the clamp as much as i could, and now im noticed the muffler is starting to pop out again... ideas? New clamp?

New clamp would probably work, or maybe you can put some loctite on the bolt.

Yeah, I replaced those darned clamps on my Stingers with U-bolts from my local autoparts store after dealing with the one side loosening up on me frequently.

you could also have the shop lay a small weld in the seams & it will solve it for good. Or like said above any autoparts store will have clamps.

I welded all my pipes. Got rid of all the leaks too. Only downfall in welding them, is removing them later when the tranny explodes! Oh well, the clamps were so tight it dented the pipes anyway.
