Installing new strut mounts. Do the struts need to come out?
I know the top nut needs to come off, but is there enough travel to get the strut down far enough that I can drop the mount out?
I'm tired of this damn clunking and am going to get two new strut mounts I don't have air tools and don't want to disassemble more than I have to.
Thanks

Strut Mounts
And you'll need a spring compressor, or you're likely be visiting your dentist.

Yes, Sears has some manual spring/strut compressors that are inexpensive.
