True and I wouldn't pay that much for it with that many miles considering I bought mine brand new for $19K. However, if you notice on Kelly Blue Book's site, you will see that dealers always ask for higher prices than for a private sale.

I'd never buy a car that started off as a rental for the same reasons I'd never marry a woman that used to be a hooker.

i'd pay $1500 max for a V6 rental car that was in an accident and still has signs of damage. that's just me, i'd assume not buy it.

i'm selling mine for 13.5 and i can't find buyers and my car's history is clean and it's fully loaded and the only owner. so i would say the fact that it has an accident on it and a rental for 2K less is a rip off.

for $5K more you can buy mine with out a single dent.
But yeah very bad deal! And horrible dealer to list a car for sale that needs any kind of work, let alone put it on the show room floor. If the showroom floor car looks like that i don't even wanna see the cars outside! LOL!
