Keep in mind, the 5-6k to get the the SCer is just the beginning. Then there's the dyno tune, the guages, the new clutch and since you've got the tranny open you might as well get a lightweight flywheel in there. Next thing you know it's 10K+. This is why I probably will stick with N/A, FI costs increase quickly especially if you engine goes "pop"
ya i hear you. i also wanted to make sure the cams wouldnt affect the brakes. looks like it wont though
nsr cams arent hard to install, most shops will do it for 400-500 dollars. if he is changing the springs out too then the install cost pretty much doubles.
OK I know nothing about cams - what would be a good cam to get? I am partial to FRPP parts. Last time I looked, they had just one I think. I see Brenspeed sells a few different kinds. So what's good for a street car (don't drag or road race)?
