Personally i would shave the handles before lambo doors, i don't necessarily think they look bad i just like shaved handles better.

vertical doors are nice especially since ur building a show car. do what makes u happy man. as far as the practical everyday use. it is imperative that you order your kit from verticaldoors.com their kit opens up normally just like a regular doors do and then whenever u feel like it you can lift it up for shows and what not. dont buy a cheaper kit if ur gonna do it make sure u do it right.

my friend has them on a scion tc and i hate getting in and out of his car...they are easy 2 open from outside but when sitting down they are a pain...and he is always bitching that im not doing it right...dont think it is worth it

the guy who owns the jamba juice by my house has a charger with huge rims and at stop lights he ALWAYS opens his lambo doors just to show he has them, it is absolutely ridiculous.
