ATC sensor & Whipple
For you whipple guys, are you using the an Air Temp Control sensor. If so, did you use the stock one or after market.
The Whipple that I purchased two months ago has now been fixed. I'm split on this thing 50-50 on selling it or installing it.

I do have all of the parts at home for the install.

At first I used the Whipple FRPP tune that used the stock IAT sensor in the MAF assembly.
I have a VMP tune now that uses the sensor relocated after the blower.
There's no performance gain from this it's just a safety thing.
If the intercooler pump ever failed the computer would never know it and the intake air would be too hot...
Why are you thinking about selling it?
Gas is getting cheaper now...

xxDerek,
A good friend of mine ended up repairing it. He's a total gear head, has is own shop and has installed and repaired S/C. He is very familar with Whipple products. He's was gonna (may) help me with the install. Anyway I took the supercharger to him. He took a look at and said that it was not anything major. He removed the shaft and tighted up a gear that had become loose, ordered a new pulley added oil and tested it. After a small oil leak that was quickly resolved, it was good to go! Sounds easy but it took about 3 weeks.
The seller and I are still working out the details with UPS. I orginally told them that is was a total loss as I did not think it could be repaired.
I do have every single piece to do the install including, pre-gapped plugs, BAP, Tune, new #39 injectors, and new silicone hoses.

Typically a new hole needs to be put into the intake pan. The sensor is larger than the hole that is already in the whipple intake.
Here's a link to another forum with some pics.

Since I already had everything installed and didn't want to pull the blower and intake pan I went with a different method:
